Real estate agent Pippin Dew was first elected to the Vallejo City Council in 2013. During the same election, voters approved moving council elections to even-years and Dew was re-elected to the council in 2018 with 16,471 votes. Dew has represented Vallejo on the League of California Cities, an association of city officials working together to combine resources. Dew, who has pushed for an early learning center for South Vallejo, is termed out of office in 2022.
