NAPA – Rep. Mike Thompson, D-St. Helena, will be joined by health professionals on Thursday to discuss the increase in Coronavirus case rate, Thompson’s office announced this week.
The virtual forum will be held from 7 to 8 p.m.
George Rutherford, MD, professor of epidemiology & biostatistics at University of California, San Francisco and Dr. Karen Relucio, deputy director of Napa County Health & Human Services-Public Health Officer, will join Thompson.
This event will be held over Zoom and interested participants must email Thompson’s office, thompson.townhall@mail.house.gov, in order to join, as the platform has a capacity of 500 people. Interested participants will be notified via email with instructions on how to join.
The event will also be streamed on Facebook Live via Thompson’s page, www.facebook.com/RepMikeThompson/.
Thompson represents California’s Fifth Congressional District, which includes the cities of Vallejo and Benicia in Solano County, all of Napa County, and parts of Contra Costa, Lake, and Sonoma counties.
