VALLEJO – Newly elected Vallejo Councilwoman Mina Diaz announced this week that she will begin to host a ‘Coffee with Mina’ event with residents every month – starting in April.
The first event will be held from 9 to 11 a.m., April 24, at the La Michoacana Bakery, located at 504 Broadway St.
“I am excited to be doing this, I feel that not everyone in our city has been heard and therefore their needs have not been addressed,” Diaz said in a statement released to JohnGlidden.com.
Persons wishing to attend the event must wear a mask and practice social distancing, she added.
Diaz, who represents District 3 – Glen Cove, said the monthly event will be held at different locations throughout the city.
“I am Council Member for District 3 and represent my district with pride, but I also represent every resident that lives here,” Diaz added in the same statement. “United We Are Stronger.”
Questions about the monthly meetings can be sent to Diaz’s official city email address: Mina.Diaz@cityofvallejo.net.
