Beginner Friendly Sewing Workshop
The Vallejo John F. Kennedy Library is hosting a start-to-finish guided sewing program to make an electric heating pad cover from an old flannel sheet. One fabric option will be provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own materials. If you plan to bring your own sewing machine, let the library know so the room can be set up accordingly. Registration is required due to limited machines and supplies. You’ll need an electric heating pad (not provided) and a piece of fabric slightly bigger than the heating pad when folded in half; old flannel clothes can be upcycled instead.
