VALLEJO — Vallejo celebrated Dia de los Muertos with a street festival downtown on Saturday.
Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a joyful tribute to the departed that keeps their memories alive. The celebration on Georgia Street featured live bands, ballet folklorico and Aztec dance performances, a Catrina costume contest, traditional crafts and food, and a classic car exhibition.
