Need a ride to the polls on Election Day? Solano County Transit (SolTrans) has you covered.
The transit agency announced Thursday that it will be offering free rides on all local and paratransit buses to help the community get to their respective polling locations on Nov. 3.
“Exercising the right to vote is so important, SolTrans wants to make it as easy as possible to get to the polls,” SolTrans officials said in a press release.
The free rides will be for all local-fixed routes and paratransit trips for ADA eligible persons. Officials noted that reservations are required for the paratransit service, as individuals are encouraged to follow the normal booking protocol to book a paratransit trip.
