BENICIA – Beginning Monday, a secure ballot box will be available in City Hall giving residents the opportunity to drop off their vote-by-mail ballots, Benicia City Clerk Lisa Wolfe announced.
Benicia City Hall is located at 250 East L St. Vote-by-mail ballots can be dropped off from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. City Hall will be closed on Oct. 2, 16, and 30.
Voters are asked to use the City Hall entrance closest to the Post Office, Wolfe said.
“From 4 – 5 p.m., signage will direct voters to the relocated ballot box in the City Clerk’s Office,” she added. “Voters are encouraged to make their ballot count by completely filling in the ovals to the right of their choices and signing their ballots.”
Voters can track their ballot to see when it is received and counted by first registering on the California Secretary of State website, https://california.ballottrax.net/voter/.
Information on registering to vote, voting options and a link to the state voter
