Celebration of Life: Honore McIlhattan
For more than 35 years, Honore McIlhattan was a true force in Vallejo — a Harley rider, business owner, philanthropist, advocate for women, and tireless supporter of local arts and history. From Planned Parenthood and Soroptimists to the Vallejo Symphony, Food Bank, and Naval & Historical Museum, Honore gave her energy, resources, and heart to causes that lifted this community.
She was described as fearless, unforgettable, and full of life — a woman who lit up every room, asked the right questions, and always showed up “all in.” Whether on her Harley or in the halls of Vallejo’s nonprofits, she was a passionate believer in inclusion, positivity, and action.
On October 19, we gather at the Empress Theatre to honor Honore’s life, her impact, and her legacy. Join her family, friends, and community to share memories, stories, and gratitude for a woman who was truly “a force of nature with a heart of gold.”

Author Event: Mimi Pond at Alibi Bookshop
Please join us in welcoming and fete-ing New York Times bestselling author, Mimi Pond, to celebrate her new book, "Do Admit! The Mitford Sisters and Me." Before there were Kadashians, Olsens, or Gabors, there were the Mitford sisters. Born with pedigrees but without the pocketbooks to match, The Mitfords were certainly no strangers to lies, intrigue, or scandal. The sisters grew from cloistered turn-of-the-century country girls into debutantes who would marry into political influence--for better or worse. Is it any wonder that a young, working class Mimi in Southern California becomes enamored with The Mitfords' downright fanciful rich-and-famous lifestyle?
