An exhibition in The Marilyn Citron O’Rourke Gallery of Deborah Benioff Friedman’s stitched compositions on paper and fabric, alongside wire-and-paper mobiles co-created with Tom Russell. Built from scraps, thread, and found materials, the works use repair and balance to explore memory as something pieced together of fragments - ephemeral, tenuous.

Monday Jazz Jam
Bring your instrument, bring your friends, and settle in for a night of live jazz at the Empress Marquee Club. Monday Jazz Jam is a welcoming, musician-friendly evening where players can sit in, listeners can enjoy a relaxed club atmosphere, and the music moves naturally from swinging standards to blues, ballads, Latin grooves, and spontaneous improvisation.
Musicians play free and get dinner, making this one of Vallejo’s most inviting weekly gatherings for working players, students, seasoned improvisers, and music fans alike. The jam runs from 7 PM to 10 PM, with doors and dinner beginning at 6 PM.
