Vallejo police said at about 3:52 a.m. officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 1900 block of Ascot Parkway.

Arriving officers found the man suffering from at least one gun shot wound. He was later pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.

No other information about the victim, and where on his body he was shot, was released by police.
